I was able to get my student loans forgiven through the public service forgiveness program and all but 4 loans by XXXX were forgiven. When I called them to find out why they told me because these loans were derogatory, they could not be included in the forgiveness. The representative could not provide any further information. I believe that XXXX is just trying their best to maintain some of the loans to keep them from all being forgiven, especially before President Biden leaves office. Thanks!
