In XX/XX/year> made a cash deposit of {$480.00} at Bank of America ATM ID : XXXX Store locator XXXX with my atm card ending in XXXX XXXXThe machine malfunctioned for about XXXX XXXX ( kept buffering ) and finally stopped and spit my receipt for {$480.00} About a week or so {$240.00} were credited {$240.00} claiming because of difference in currency.. They started a Ref # XXXX case, on XX/XX/year> where they debited back the {$240.00} ( temporarily ) while they would conduct an investigation etc. In XX/XX/year> the bank stated that the credit will be removed claiming any record of additional cash deposited at the atm for {$240.00} between XX/XX/year> and XX/XX/year>. I have a SS direct deposit on this account. I am XXXX XXXX XXXX and have a very minimal source of cash income for my daily living, etc. How can a bank of this magnitude act so unprofessional and uncaring towards its customers, specially the elderly XXXX i singled out because its a small account., therefore not caring about what the bank looses or wins, i am dismayed by this conduct. And next week Iwill probably be able to eat less because of these monies taken out for my sustenance. Its a very sad situation. Who do you trust nowadays?
