XX/XX/year> I tried to use my balance of {$40.00} on a purchase from XXXX XXXX. The online site told me the card was not good. I called the number for balance and found there was {$40.00} on card. I then called the number to reach an live agent to place the purchase and they too could not place the order. They too called to check balance and were told it was active and had {$40.00} cents available. This went on for 90 minutes. I numerous times asked to speak to " leadership '' and was never granted that request. The agent told me there was nothing he could do and leadership told him for me to put it on my credit card. I asked why i would do that when i had their gift card with {$40.00} that i wanted to us. At than time while on one telephone line with XXXX i called the customer service line from my other line, i was on the phone with XXXX for XXXX minutes They were unwilling to replace the card. They said i could make the purchase and that would leave {$12.00} on the card but could not tell me i would not have the same problem when i went to use it again. I said that was not acceptable and wanted a replacement card for the full amount. After XXXX hours of trying to purchase a {$19.00} item i just gave up. My husband heard the whole conversation and sent me your link. Nothing was resolved, they have {$40.00} cents of my money.
