Around the month of XXXX This company initially called my father and I and told us we HAD to pay this debt or else we will not be able to rent ever again, they asked for my personal information. The person on the phone tried to scare me into paying this debt by telling me I need to go take a loan out and or go into my retirement to pay off this loan. The person then continued to call and violate me. I had asked this person to please send in the mail a bill for this debt before I even think of paying it off. a couple days later while I was at work I get called to my managers office stating that they had received 3 calls from a person looking for me, my manager said the company told her it was a urgent matter and to contact them asap. I got the phone number and I proceeded to call the number and sure enough it was the man I spoke to about this debt. I asked him why he called my job 3 times and on there other end of the phone the person hung up on me. Then this month my credit went down XXXX point because they but it on my credit report. I had not received a bill from the original debt owed before they sold it to a debt collector.
