We applied for $ XXXX mortgage from the equity of our home. Underwriting reviewed then XXXX XXXX emailed on XX/XX/XXXX requesting property insurance documents, we promptly emailed policy declaration details next day XXXX. It was accepted and the mortg closed XX/XX/XXXX. Upon my travel return XX/XX/XXXX I noted a few letters from Rocket requesting copies of my wind insurance policy. Not knowing what wind meant, I presumed they needed another copy of our policy. In addition I emailed XXXX XX/XX/XXXX asking for assistance however he referred me to customer service who I called few times in XXXX. I was told to submit policy renewal. After many calls, and submission of renewal XXXX XXXX believed all had been resolved but got further calls on XX/XX/XXXX .Turns out the agent neglected to mention my policy should have included wind. Rocket added $ XXXX lender placed coverage retroactively from close date against our approval despite us adding wind to our policy by XXXX. They jacked monthly from {$1300.00} to XXXX. We opened case, on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX acknowledged underwriting error and said we would hear back. We continued calling customer service to pay the regular mortg & ensure they were aware, On XX/XX/XXXX we were told escrow would be extended and lender would end XX/XX/XXXX. We continued to get letters every week extending the lender placed insurance contrary.
