We have a loan with Navient that originated on XX/XX/XXXX. It has been transferred to a new company called : XXXX. We understand that a class action suit has been filed against Navient for mishandling payments and interest calculations, but I don't believe we received any settlement notice. I do believe we have been overcharged and the loan has been fraudulently mishandled. We applied for forbearance once and reduced payments for one year that were supposed to revert to the original payment amount but never did. We just learned that a class action suit was filed against Navient for mishandling payments and interest calculations. We are still paying for this loan, which was originally supposed to be paid off in 10 years.
