Consumer Narrative
I have a longstanding credit card account with Bank of America. Recently, I have had a payment not go through due to financial difficulty. Now, I am trying to make a payment and get back on track but the bank has locked by ability to make an online payment and has not switched back to paper billing so it can easily be mailed. Making it more difficult ( or impossible ) to make a payment MAKES NO SENSE. This is creating an opportunity for them to charge additional fees and interest.
