On XX/XX/XXXX I received a phone call from someone claiming to be a process server looking to serve me or my husband with " certified legal documents ''. They left a voicemail with a case number and toll free number and said a Failure To Appear would be issued if we did not call them back. I called the toll free number, and reached a company called something like XXXX XXXX XXXX. The man said that a finance company was suing my husband for an alleged car loan taken out on XXXX. Which is 22 years ago. And said they would be filing a lien on our house. I advised him there is a statute of limitations and I have no knowledge of this alleged car loan and hung up.
