I have been a long standing customer of JP Morgan Chase Bank Credit Cards. I was XXXX XXXX military for many years, as well as married to an XXXX XXXX military member. I obtained the credit card with a special military interest rate. Over the years, our family has trusted chase bank credit cards to get us through hard times. Now out of the military and no longer XXXX XXXX but still a veteran, I got a notice from Chase credit that my interest rate would be increasing 18 % and all previous charges on the credit card would be subject to the 18 % interest increase. Because of this, I can literally no longer put food on the table. It ; s an extra {$350.00} a month to keep the card in good standing. I have called them more times than I can count and begged for help, I'm okay with the interest increase, just why am I getting charged the increase every month, on purchases I made for my family WHILE I WAS ACTIVE DUTY. This is so wrong! Driving my family into bankruptcy. PLEASE HELP! I've paid thousands of dollars extra this year because of this and I sometimes and late on utility bills now or can't feed the family, just so my credit company doesn't send me to creditors. I've served this country for a decade and this is just a slap in the face!!!! PLEASE HELP, and help me get back the money that they've taken over the last 6 months from me from this. It's so WRONG! Illegal even, I think ....
