I was incarcerated and had someone cash a check for me XXXX party. The bank cashed the check. They never issued the XXXX party the money and flagged the check as fraudulent and closed his account. When I was released I went into the bank with proper identification and had put the bank in contact with the issuer of the check. They are refusing to release the money to me and I am at a stand still. I am no longer in contact with the XXXX party and it's my understanding they are no longer involved. I am getting nowhere. The check was issued in XXXX of 2023. I feel I need to add the person I had try to cash the check for me. XXXX XXXX. The check was from XXXX XXXX XXXX company and it was my inheritance from my XXXX who passed away.
