On XX/XX/year> I called XXXX over a bag I had purchased however it was not XXXX. They were posing to be XXXX and then began to tell me that my XXXX account was being hacked for {$9000.00} through my XXXX .using XXXX charges XXXX XXXX something I never heard of and told me I had to verify my account through XXXX I have only made a few transactions through XXXX but this time city detected fraud, suspicious activity, but did nothing to block my account stop the transaction from going through. They only sent me a letter a week later they took my entire Social Security money and then some total {$1900.00}. I feel that Citibank did nothing to protect my account. I have done a customer for over 40 years. Maybe its time to leave them.
