Consumer Narrative
Person called saying they are representative for a prosecuting attorney that is going after debt accrued at XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$2000.00}, due to over drafting an account and then not paying. I have never had an account, loan, or credit card with XXXXXXXX XXXX I have also recently filed for XXXX and this debt was not listed on any credit report, and this party never came forward in any XXXX proceedings. The person calling had my name, address, and social security number. I did not confirm with them the information was correct, but it was correct. They also called my wife but she did not answer so they only left a voicemail for her. When I originally didn't answer and blocked the number, they called me back from a different number.
