Citi Bank closed my account without prior noticed on XX/XX/year>. I discovered this when I could not been able to log in to my account to check my balances prior to making a purchase. Upon this discovery, I called their customer service and explained the situation and then was transferred to their Fraud Department. I have explanied the situation to the agent, and was told that Citi Bank has decided to end the relationship with me without giving any reason at all. I demanded for the explanation but that was all the information that they can provide unfortunately. Since this was not the answer that I was wanting to hear, I asked for the agent 's supervisor ( s ) but was informed that none were available and seemed to not care. I have told the agent that that was all the money I have available to pay for my bills, utilities, groceries, etc., and where my salary comes in. But the aganet 's answer was that they will send me a letter after 7 days with the reasons for the closure of my bank account. Then I demanded to expedite to send my money in the account since I am in the process of paying my bills which were behind, and there were some bills that were already sent from the account. The agent told me that the money would be sent in the form of a check after 30 days. I told them that would not cut it and demanded to expedite it so I could pay my bills, but they could not help me and it is their policy. I demanded to talk to their supervisor ( s ) but told they would give me a call the next day but to no avail. Thank you for resolving this issue with this bank on my behalf. I have been a loyal customer but what they did does me injustice.
