Consumer Narrative
I noticed my debit card was missing and looked into my account to see over {$1800.00} worth of international charges in my account. I called BOA and they canceled that card and sent a new one and advised I go into a branch to dispute the charges. I went to the branch the following day and opened a dispute on XX/XX/year>. I called the bank on the XXXX to ask about the credits and I looked on the XXXX and they updated the claim on the XXXX denying the claim, I called and they could not tell me much told me to call back to another department on Monday as they are closed on the weekend. They said the decision was made that I was responsible for the charges but they did not have any further details. I have not even left the country how am I responsible for these international charges!? I am so frustrated and this is causing issues with my bills and account being overdrawn. This is so wrong and I feel ike there is nothing I can do BOA is a huge company and I am just a little guy, I am not at fault and I am being treated as if I am lying and making this up when I have not left the country!
