Consumer Narrative
I bought an Apple XXXX XXXX a year ago and paid using Apple Card installments ( it's a Goldman Sachs card ). In the last couple of weeks I traded that watch into Apple using their Trade-In Program and bought an Apple XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I still have a bit over {$270.00} in installments on my old Apple XXXX XXXX but it was traded in successfully which means Apple now owns and possesses it. I no longer have it or have any access to it or any way of getting it back. I have my new Apple XXXX XXXX XXXX. I. expect to pay installments on my Apple XXXX XXXX XXXX obviously because I have received that watch and am wearing it. But Apple Card is forcing me to continue paying the installments on my old watch. I was promised a trade in value of {$340.00} for my watch but since I have to keep paying Apple over {$270.00} for a watch that is now in their ownership and possession and for which I have no access to, I obviously won't even receive the value of the trade in. I expect only to make payments on the watch I have. I don't expect to give Apple back my old watch, lose the trade in value, and then literally have to pay Apple installments for many more months fo giving them back the watch. They get the watch back but I'm paying them to own it. It does not make sense to me and customer service won't help me. They say I have to pay Apple to keep my old watch. This is nonsense.
