I reached out to Collection bureau or Hudson Valley on XX/XX/XXXX about a collection debt that was placed on my credit report by the company. I received a letter sent to my letter with stating theyre debt collectors and that i have to pay a balance of {$120.00}. I sent in a letter asking stating that I have NEVER done business with them and that they should verify the alleged debt owed. They then responded by saying that I called on XX/XX/year> and closed out my complaint. ( I never got proof of the call ) Then I received an email document from CBHV with statements from XXXX whom of which is the original creditor. Statements/Invoices from XXXX does not prove that I owe this debt. Therefore I will not be paying this debt, because CBHV does not have the power of authority to collect. Please remove this debt from my consumer reports ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ) and send me a updated report of my credit report.
