Consumer Narrative
This correspondence serves as a final attempt to address the unresolved matter concerning the {$2700.00} payment made on XX/XX/XXXX, to my Bank of America XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account ( ending in XXXX ). I am providing clear and irrefutable evidence that the payment was successfully posted and debited from my XXXX XXXX savings account, and no funds were returned due to insufficient balance. To summarize the movement of the funds in question : On XX/XX/XXXX, a payment of {$2700.00} was applied to my Bank of America account. On XX/XX/XXXX, Bank of America debited my credit account and erroneously returned these funds to my then closed XXXX XXXX savings account. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX attempted to return the erroneously rejected payment to Bank of America, as indicated by tracker number XXXX. The XX/XX/XXXX return is visible in the history on my Bank of America account and the back up for this is attached. Despite this and evidence of the funds ultimately being in final possession at Bank of America XXXX Bank of America has not credited the payment to my account, nor provided adequate documentation supporting their position. I am also including copies of my XXXX XXXX statements, which show that the XX/XX/XXXX payment cleared, my account did not have an insufficient balance, and the funds were not returned to me. Furthermore, it would not have been possible for me to close my XXXX XXXX savings account if the XX/XX/XXXX transaction were still pending. Additionally, XXXX Bank of America statement does not reflect the XX/XX/XXXX payment I made, only the initial attempt on XX/XX/XXXX. This discrepancy further complicates the matter and requires resolution. Your prior investigation into this matter, referenced under claim number XXXX, failed to acknowledge the evidence I provided, which also came from Bank of America XXXX and includes documentation of XXXX XXXX XXXX attempt to return the payment to Bank of America XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. Despite my repeated efforts and countless communications with both XXXX XXXX and Bank of America, this issue remains unresolved, despite being entirely outside my control as a consumer. I have gone above and beyond to provide clear and compelling evidence to support my claim, which would be fully admissible and conclusive in any legal forum. Your internal team, with greater authority and visibility into these transactions, is fully capable of resolving this discrepancy, yet the matter persists.
