Consumer Narrative
Hi, USAA Federal Credit union ( routing number XXXX ) has my XXXX XXXXXXXX check that they likely received on the XXXX XX/XX/year>, received from the Treasurer. The funds are mine and I need them for food and to pay my credit cards which are now maxed as I could not pay them off as the bank has my funds. My name is blank. I have not been late on any bill in over 10 years. I have never committed any fraud, or wrote a check that I did not have funds to pay, yet the employees and management at this bank are treating me like a criminal and refuse to give me my funds. I had been with the bank for 30+ years and there is no branch in my state to go and pick up my funds. Even if there were the bank would not give them to me. I also had auto insurance with USAA as well but was told they are closing my insurance so I got new insurance. Here 's is the broad view of what is going on, afterwards I will explain my situation. USAA use to be the best bank US, now they are the worst. XXXXwww.usaa.com out of Reviews XXXX, 88 % of the reviews are the lowest, 1 out of 5. Their average reviews are 1.2 where the lowest is 1. There's a reason, they are intentionally spiteful and vengeful without a cause. They behave abhorrently, intentionally neglectful and hostile towards clients blaming clients for their mistakes and creating mountains out of molehills always claiming " fraud prevention '' for their bad behavior and punishing clients for their bad behavior and trying to justify the unjustifiable via fraud prevention. I have never committed any fraud never been late on ANY payments at any creditor in over 10 years and NEVER sent them a false check. Now, specifically what is going on with the background. I have had a bad case of the flu, fever, chills, going days without eating, and the list goes go. An agent called me telling me to update my address or else! I went online and was not able to update my mailing address after many tries and using various address. It would not update. I told them so, and they cancelled my account almost immediately, " fraud prevention '' they claim. From a client of 30 years who never cost them a dime or done anything wrong? I have been sick for 3 weeks now and mostly in bed, and while I should have been resting, I have been stressing setting up new accounts for insurance and banking so I can drive and use funds, which I do not have at the moment. More importantly, I told them to send my direct deposit check back to the treasurer, and they refused. I told via phone to NOT send the funds to the address on file which I have NOT been able to update as it won't update, and they refused and sent a check anyway, meaning they are collecting interest on those funds while I do not have access to the funds or the check. I have them my new mailing address which they refused to update on my account. They are being intentionally uncooperative. Now they have put a 9 day hold on my funds, still REFUSING to send my funds back to the treasurer since they sent the funds to the WRONG ADDRESS and REFUSED to update mailing address. At the moment, going by USAA " fraud measures '', which is a ruse for probable deniability, keeping my funds as long as possible and collecting interest on my funds. By USAA math, the second chance I have for them to send me a check is XXXX XXXX from now, 18 days later, just to send me a check, with is subject to review and they may just decided again as last time to send it to the wrong address as they refuse to update my mailing address which is impossible for me to update as I have tried many times, and again they will not update it. If that happens, MY FUNDS will be blocked another 5 days and two weekends ( 9 days ) and I'll be in the same situation. I for the first time late on both my credit card payments, late on bills, I am almost out of gas, can't buy foods or medications and I have been deathly sick with the flu at home. USAA has NO HEART and are intentionally selfish. Fraud prevention my ars! They are thieves! They know what they are doing and are going to continue down this same deceptive path and continue to hold onto/ steal my funds as long as they can get away with it. Lastly, my insurance which they said they will cancel, I put two or three times as many miles down as I actually drive so I am paying proportionally 2 or 3 times as much for my auto insurance as have to as I only drive a fraction as many miles as I had placed on my insurance. Yes I over pay! I noticed they changed my auto policy reducing the date from a year out to the XXXX XXXX, so they could close my Auto insurance as they said they would. I now have a different auto insurance company now btw. I was with USAA auto for 30+ years. Never had an accident, low risk and I over payed for many years, a fraction as many miles as I had placed on my policy! I only drive a mile rounds trip to church during the week. That's it. My credit report has been damaged to not being able to pay off my credit cards and other bills, and having to max them out to stay alive further damaging my credit score with over usage of credit. USAA is a corrupt company who uses " Fraud prevention '' to defraud '' and browbeat its customers, and the trust pilot reviews speak for their selves with the lowest possible score of XXXX with almost XXXX reviews.
