I was a victim of identity theft twice over the years. I have lost every bank account I had due to this situation, and I have yet to regain access to any of my accounts that I had with USAA, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX before all this happened. In reference to USAA, I was dealing with the death of my little sister when I initially found out about it, so I did not dispute or address anything right away. When I did, I was denied access multiple times moving forward and told I could continue my insurance services with them but not banking services. I filed a total of XXXX re-reviews and was still denied. Feeling like I was running out of options I contacted the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who the banks use to run customers consumer reports before allowing them to open a bank account to dispute the information the banks provided to them. In doing so I provided the police report & letter from the Federal Trade Commission and the information was removed from not only my XXXX XXXX report but XXXX XXXX report as well. Happy to feel like I was getting somewhere I was able to open an account with XXXX just to find out it was flagged and closed XXXX days later because USAA reported back to the XXXX XXXX XXXX that the information I disputed, and they removed was indeed correct and requested they add it back to my report. At this point I feel like I've ran out of options & have been put in a worse position because unless I have additional documentation to provide the XXXX XXXX XXXX to dispute what was already disputed once before and added back then they will deny it every time and I am desperate. I've been a member over XXXX years with USAA and to be treated like the accuser instead of the victim is sickening to me. The fact I have to go through all this extra stuff and was put in a worse off position than I was when I started honestly makes me not even want to keep my insurance services with them or do business with them at all.
