I started receiving relentless calls to collect debt owed from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I did not have a choice to drive myself to the appointment. They did not tell me it was going to cost {$950.00}. I could have cancelled the appointment. But no instead blindside me. So on XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX, I agreed to and paid {$400.00} to settle the debt. I needed documentation of this for my employer, so I reached out multiple times to try to request a letter with proof of settlement. After hours on hold, I finally got someone to send me a letter stating the account balance is {$0.00}. This was able to satisfy my employer requirement. Now, 6 months later they are again calling me relentlessly to demand I pay this debt again. And they must have reported it as a collection on my credit report because my score went down over XXXX points. This is with Phoenix Financial Services. They are fraudsters. They XXXX up my credit for a debt I already paid. They are XXXX.
