I have had a problem with citbank and XXXX XXXX. I filed many disputes from XXXX onwards becuse of thousands of dolars of materials i bought were either defective or broken and they refused to do anything about it, including a hot water heater a tankless one, that i purchased in XXXX that exploded in my kitchen. I have photos and documentation ofn the repair work that was required to be done after this explosion, and XXXX XXXX nor citibank would remove this amount which is over XXXX off my bill. They kept stonewalling me, and also, i never gave authorization or consent for my vital personal information to be handled or shared with anyone overseas. I was speaking ith peiple in XXXX and the XXXX, an this is actually a violation of the gramm beachly act and many federal statues and banking laws. I sent many certified mail letters to citibank regarding these concerns and they went unwarranted. I was just told they are a global company and they can do what they want. I have all the written correspondance to prove it. I was threatened with lawsuit from citibank after that without addressing the vioation of my information, which is a viokation of federal statues and also not acknowledgeing the bad materials they would not credit for or the damge that their tankless hot water heater caused. I received another notice of potental actuon to br taken back in XXXX oif this year, but i never heard anything back .The notice said XXXX days i had to reply, everytime i attempted to call the number listed, it either did not pick up, or no one answered. i have the dates and times of when i called. So thrn on XX/XX/XXXX, while i was at work, a XXXX XXXX sherriff constable came to my house and served papers to my XXXX. The XXXX was very rude to him, and upon inspecting the paperwork, they, against Georgia state law and vioating my rights, filed a case against me on XXXX XXXX, as the documnetation from the court states, and i did not get served until XX/XX/XXXX. The law clearly states that oncd a suit is filed, no matter where the defendant lives at, there a period of no more than 5 days from the certified date of filing. the documentation also states that the court sent it out to be served, meaning the clerk of courts stamped it to be served to nme on XX/XX/XXXX, another horrible violation of my rights. I will be pursuing action against the court here and the sheriffs office and find out if someone was paid to violate the law and my riughts as this completely eliinates my ability to defend my self and its a violation of my civil rights. After my certifed mail, I attempted to contact the firm to resolve it by phon, and i spoke with XXXX on a recorded line so the call has a record, and i exokained how my righst were violated and hat the law was, they said i owed a debt, i yold them i am disputing this XXXX told me that they would put the account on hold and that they would send the statements and then i would need to call back and advise them what i am disputing and then they would go from there. that was on XXXX XXXX. Next i received a letter from tis XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX stating simply that i owed the amount of XXXX and thst there no dispute and they are going to take further action and contact them to make oayment arrangements. i am not only not fdoing that, i am foloiwng every level of the law and take legal action against everyone ivolved in vioating my righst and the law is very clear, On XX/XX/XXXX, i sent this firm XXXX XXXX, a certified letter explaining the law, hiw i was violated and what action i was going to take. To date, i have not received the return slip back from their florida office meaning someone ha refused my certified mail.
