I transferred money in my Robinhood account from bank last week. Yesterday I had a family emergency and had to use them funds to travel. Once I tried to withdraw the money on to my debit card, it told me that I could only withdraw to the account i deposited from. I then explained that, that account was frozen because somebody tried taking money out of it earlier that day so I couldnt put it back in there. They made me submit all kinds of documentation proving that both accounts were mine. They just said give them 2/3 days for back office to review but I explained I didnt have that time frame. Now my account is restricted where I showed more documentation but now theyre saying they will reach back out by the XXXX and I cant do anything until they do. This is insane and I just want my money. Im really considering getting a lawyer and suing because I dont know what else to do and this cant be legal.
