XX/XX/year> XXXX XXXX Portfolio RC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX To Whom It May Concern : This letter is a formal Complaint under FEDERAL FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT ( FCRA ), 15 USC Sec. 1681-1681y, imposes responsibilities on all persons who furnish information to consumer reporting agencies ( CRAs ). These responsibilities are found in Section 623 of the FCRA, 15 U.S.C. Sec 1681s-2, that the Credit Reporting Agency could be reporting Unauthorized and Fraudulent Credit Inquiries by these Original Creditors on my credit report and is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 604 ( a ) ,604 ( b ), 604 ( c ), 609, and 623 ( a ) ( 6 ) ( 8 ) and Fair Credit Billing Act, and Title 15 U.S.C. section 1681b ( a ), 1681b ( b ), 1681b ( c ), All data on My Credit Report must be 100 % ACCURATE, 100 % VERIFIABLE, and 100 % TIMELY, or By Law can not be on My Credit Report. PERIOD, per Sec 623 ( b ) ( 1 ) ( E ). I recently reviewed my credit report and found unauthorized inquiries. I contacted the below creditors, and they have NO proof I initiated such inquiries, nor written authorization and have failed to provide any permissible purpose. Since, they do not have my authorization, written nor verbal, I ask that you DELETE these authorized inquiries from my credit report immediately as there is no evidence of any authorization, nor any permissible purpose. Inquiries are not a matter of record when I never gave these companies access to My credit file!! According to Section 604 of Fair Credit Reporting Act Permissible Purposes of Consumer Reports 15 U.S. Code 1681b In general. Subject to subsection ( e ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other. ( F ) otherwise has a legitimate business need for the information i ) in connection with a business transaction that is initiated by the consumer. Under 15 U.S. Code 1681i, Paragraph ( 5 ) Treatment of Inaccurate or Unverifiable Information consumer, an item of the information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or can not be verified, the consumer reporting shall- ( i ) promptly delete. The following inquiries are unauthorized.
