I provided a loan refinance check issued by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to payoff the Bank of America XXXX loan ending XXXX via overnight delivery to the address provided on the Bank of America fax payoff quote and received delivery confirmation from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX am. XXXX tracking number XXXX. Bank of America website clearly states that all payments will be posted within XXXX business days. As of XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX calendar days and XXXX business days, Bank of America has not posted the payment. Multiple phone calls to their auto loan service center results in no additional information and they do not reflect receipt of the payoff. At first, the Bank of America agent states that their payoff instructions are inaccurate and they no longer accept payments at the address specified for overnight delivery. A second phone call states that they do and that payments are being forwarded. A third call states that they need 7 days to process a payment, in contradiction to their website banner. At this point, they have not processed my payment and I have delivery confirmation of the $ XXXX payment. The new lender, XXXX XXXX has confirmed that the new loan check has not been presented for payment. I want Bank of America to take responsibility for the check they received and process the payoff.
