I had to call XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to get an answer. They told me my name XXXX XXXX XXXX brought up multiple people with other social security cards numbers and having part or whole my name. I was told I had many different social security cards. I don't but just using a very common name such as mine would bring up that results. I asked what do they need to fix this. The reply I got was a letter specifically stating from the Social Security office that I only have one social security number. Plus copies of my driver license SS Card, voting registration, and or any other proof of my identity. I have had the Home Depot card for over 25 years it was issued in my husbands name and my name. I put a full application with my husbands info to them and was approved. My husband died 3 years ago and I notified Home depot a month after his death and inquired if my card was still good to use. I was told that they had both me and my husband info and there is no problem with his death my card remained in good standing. I never use the Home Depot card except for large appliances, as is the case at this time. I can give them all my ID info but the Social Security office can respond to making a letter such as Citi requested. I wrote them they told me to open an account and do it myself. There is nothing in the account I open with the SS office that allows me to do this. Or request it done by them. I feel more than just slighted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for the past 35 years and being treated in this manner is wrong.
