I opened checking and savings accounts with Chase online on XX/XX/year>, deposited funds into and received an email confirmation that the accounts were opened. On XX/XX/year> I received notification from Chase that the opened accounts were restricted and I needed to call them. I did call. Nothing about clarifying anything relative to why they were restricting my account came into play. Rather I was verbally told my account would be closed and I was restricted from accessing chase.com. I called to request my funds and was told my account was under investigation and after the investigation, my funds would need to be requested by my current bank, XXXX XXXX to get my funds. I asked why am I being investigated and was given no response. I then vehemently requested that my deposit immediately be returned as not having access to my funds meant I am being denied my ownership of a provided asset when a contract was already annulled by one party in the contract. Basically, Chase indicates the following, " Important : Please contact us To help protect against fraud, we restricted and may need to close your account soon ''. After the call, I am not asked anything about fraud or what is expected of fraud. I feel this is a cop out and generic phrase to XXXX for discrimination. I was kept on hold for 1 hour and 30 minutes and finally spoke with an executive who provided the following case number : XXXX
