Never received any written notice validating this debt. They just posted to my credit report stating I have an open account with them. I am unaware of this debt and why it's even on my credit report. So therefore as allowed under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I am requesting that you allow me to validate the alleged debt. The Portfolio Recovery has not provided any information about this debt aside from an alleged amount owed. Per 15 U.S. Code 1692c - A. this creditor is in direct violation. I would like this removed from my credit report until they can written provide proof or validation of this debt.
