My Apple Card was suddenly closed in XXXX of XXXX due to multiple fraudulent activity, and my Apple Cash Account was locked. The fraudulent activity was out of my control and I also reported identity theft to the police with proof due to multiple bank account and credit cards getting hacked. I have been trying to find answers by calling support numerous, but no one has been able to provide me with a clear and specific reason as to why my accounts were shut down. All they have been able to tell me is that it was due to " regulatory reasons, '' which is not very helpful. As far as my Apple Cash goes, there was a dispute filed to my XXXX due to me thinking it was a fraud transaction since at the time I was going through multiple hacked accounts. After I realized that I was the one who completed the transaction I sorted it it with my bank stating that it was not fraud and the issue was then resolved. To be completely restricted due to this mistake without warning or discussion is unacceptable. I would use Apple Cash very often and it was used to make payments to merchants, friends, businesses, bills, etc. and out of nowhere XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX chose to restrict my account permanently without any explanation. I called Apple support multiple and they could not help me in the slightest. I have never committed any type of fraud. Despite being told that I can transfer my money out at any point, I haven't been able to do so yet because my account is locked. However, the real issue is wit h the Apple Cash being closed, because that was my only way of payment to people and it was taken away from me due to something that was out of my control. I can't prevent my identity being stolen and I soon as I saw fraudulent activity on my account I reported it. I have asked numerous of times why they restricted me from Apple Cash and they never give me an answer. I have been given the run around multiple times without any progress or solution. I know Apple Cash is affiliated to XXXX XXXX and they made the decision to permanently close my account without explanation. I have been without Apple Cash for over a year now without warning and need XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX to reinstate my account. This is completely wrong and unfair and I do not appreciate the lack of communication as well. In summary, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX has mishandled my Apple Cash account and created unnecessary complications. I urge Apple to review and correct their procedures regarding unclaimed properties to prevent similar issues for other customers.
