Please reference complaint XXXX. On XX/XX/year> I tried to withdraw funds. The bank declined the transfer and stated there was a security concern. I have since contacted the bank multiple times to verify identity, answered questions correctly, passwords, etc. Still denied. The bank told me that they would send an 'identity verification ' letter and they stated, in response to my previous CFPB complaint that they did so on XXXX XXXX. No letter received. They then told me that they sent one out on XXXX XXXX. Not received. They then said they sent one on XXXX XXXX. Not received. They will not verify my account and allow access to my funds and to close the account. I have since researched Marcus and found that there are dozens, if not hundreds of people having this same problem with Marcus and stating so through social media, XXXX, XXXX and other sources. I believe that Marcus is withholding people 's funds for financial benefit and lying when they say " the letter is on the way ''. This needs to be investigated. I will also contact the U.S. Attorney 's office in my district as well as the SEC, FDIC, and have filed a complaint with the Federal Reserve. Please do not close this complaint until there is verification that the issue has been resolved, as Marcus lied in their previous response to CFPB. Thanks.
