Received letter from Brown & Joseph LLC as debt collector of debt owed from XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$35.00} as of XX/XX/XXXX. Reference # XXXX Brown & Joseph only offered phone XXXX or www.brownandjoseph.com as contacts On XX/XX/XXXX - I accessed the website and sent an email via contact on website. On XX/XX/XXXX - after not receiving any information, I called at XXXX XXXX, and was rudely treated and told they have no details and I needed to call XXXX XXXX XXXX directly. -- - How is that? They are trying to collect a debt they have no information on -- Bogus company? On XX/XX/XXXX - ~noon est I called XXXX XXXX XXXX - Customer Service with number provided by Brown & Joseph XXXX XXXX XXXX and was told there is no outstanding balance. My last charge was XX/XX/XXXX and charged via credit card and paid. She did say I could follow up with Oriental accounting dept via email -- I will not be doing that. On XX/XX/XXXX - Immediately following my call with XXXX XXXX XXXX, I called back to Brown & Joseph, the call was answered but open line with people laughing and some swearing in the background before someone actually addressed me on the line. Then rudely had me wait as they 'looked ' up the account again. I hung up. I believe this is a bogus, 'store front ' to see who will send money. I don't know if someone internal to XXXX XXXXBrown & Joseph have a scam going on but I will not be communicating with either anymore.
