I recently discovered XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX {$250.00} on my credit report from TRANSUNION. This is extremely embarrassing and concerning. TRANSUNION does not have my authorization to share my personal information. I will not be paying this alleged debt unless you provide a bill of sale, assignment, or any other agreement between you and the original creditor that proves your authorization to collect on this debt. I have reason to believe you are attempting to extort me by punishing me for non-payment on an extension of credit. Please be aware that under 18 USC 894, it is a crime to collect or attempt to collect by punishing a person for non-payment. Your actions have damaged my creditworthiness, causing me to be denied other extensions of credit that I am entitled to. You do not have my consent for these actions. If you claim to be the creditor, you will be held liable under TILA for any violations. Additionally, you are in violation of the FDCPA for harassment and for furnishing false and misleading information to third parties without my consent. Under the Gramm Leach Bliley Act, you must have my permission to share my financial information with a third party, which you do not have. Furthermore, under 15 USC 1681b, you must have a permissible purpose to obtain and use my credit report, which you have failed to establish.
