Consumer Narrative
My payments have always been on time and never late or over the limit. XXXX, I have made XXXX payments a month. XX/XX/year> unfortunately our City of XXXX, Texas where I live was DECLARED AN EMERGENCY STATE OF DISASTER due to HURRICANE XXXX. It was horrible, no work, no banks, no food or groceries stores, lives lost, homes destroyed, people sleeping in cars, no hotels except over XXXX miles. XXXX had come in, but no one has gotten reimbursed or paid for damages. Inspectors are backlogged. People are still without homes after weeks. Homeless. I was using my credit cards because waiting to get reimbursed for employment lost and losses. I was not over the limit ever and because I am so lost with dates, times and where I am going, I checked to see what my balance was and payment due date because I have been out of connection due to no communication. When I checked I did not have payment due but saw I was over the limited {$8.00} which made no sense because I did not charge anything over the limit, I am careful. I had to take my last bit of money for food to immediately get it under the limit and said I would call them. I made the payment immediately for {$58.00} for get the XXXX amount of over limit. I called and spoke with XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/year> and was upset because I never been late or ever had issues. She did acknowledge that I have been an outstanding customer and because of my hardship with the state of emergency she increased my limit and then told me the over the limit was not due to a charge it was interest. I was so upset with her and said why would you have done that because I have never had issues, and I am going through a lot with the President 's State of Emergency Disaster which should not penalize me let alone for interest. That over limit was interest. I told her I should have been protected and this needs to be removed due to it not being a CHARGE and THE EMERGENCY STATE OF DISASTER. It has already been enough for me and they should remove and delete as we have over limit protection. I also asked why she would report that she said they do not report over the limit it just so happened the reporting date are the XXXX of every month so that is why it was reported. She said she was going to escalate it and have it deleted and removed due to my great standings and most of all the President Declaring State of Emergency for Hurricane Beryl XX/XX/XXXX. She gave me a reference number XXXX and said someone would be reaching out. Someone did reach out but it was put in the notes wrong, so he had to redo it. I told him I was disputing it and he said to do that which I am this is it. THIS IS FOR XXXX XXXX XXXX ENDING IN XXXX
