I attempted to send my mom money for rent and added her phone number to my XXXX XXXX account on Chime. Only after sending funds did I realize that it was going to someone other than my mom ( the system didnt show any alternative names prior to submission ). So {$150.00} went to a complete stranger who then took/accepted the money. I attempted to notify the company of what happened. They said theyd launch and investigation and then denied my claim and allowed the unauthorized party to retain my funds. They enabled theft.
