XX/XX/XXXX i was sent to claims for an unpaid balance of {$2100.00} for a storage unit in XXXX XXXX, CA. I did not rent it my landlord rented it, I closed the rental and returned the keys and I moved out of the country. I received a call from XXXX XXXX XXXX saying I owe for 2 months rent for a storage unit. I never rented it and how can I rent it if I am in another country, they never sent proof. I asked both TransUnion and XXXX to remove it from my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX and I filed a ID Theft report on XX/XX/XXXX. Neither have removed it and Transunion sent an update on XX/XX/XXXX that was not an update, only the original dispute paperwork, they just replied with the application.
