According to law 15 USC 6802b and ( c ) - the consumer is given the opportunity, before the time that such information is initially disclosed, to direct that such information not be disclosed to such third party; and ( C ) the consumer is given an explanation of how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option. 18 USC 1028A - Whoever, during and in relation to any felony violation enumerated in subsection ( c ), knowingly transfers, possesses, or uses, without lawful authority, a means of identification of another person shall, in addition to the punishment provided for such XXXX, be sentenced to a term of imprisonment of 2 years. XXXX XXXX XXXX never sent me a notice or chance to opt out to have my information shared with non affiliated third parties. Neither did they provide a written letter with my original signature to have them share my information with non affiliated third parties. All that was sent from them in their response was a document that I never received that stated they would share my account with non affiliated third parties. I would like for this information to be corrected or I will exercise my rights against XXXX XXXX XXXX for each consumer law that they are breaking.
