Hi, I have opened the account online at First United Bank on XXXX XX/XX/year> using the ongoing promotional offer of {$250.00} during that time for opening the checking account. I applied using the promotional code and it was successfully applied to my account opening application. After successful account opening I fulfilled the terms and conditions to qualify for bonus which was XXXX USD in direct deposit with in 90 days of account opening. After that I reached couple of times in XXXX and XXXX to the customer representative through United Bank app inbuilt chat option to make sure that promotional code is successfully applied to my account and to confirm I have fulfilled the bonus requirements which they confirmed I did. Now in XXXX when the bonus was not disbursed I reached out back to them asking for the explanation that why I have not received bonus and they mentioned that offer ended on XXXX. Now this lead to XXXX conflicting cases- First -If the promotion was ended on XXXX then why I was still able to apply the promotion code on account opening on XXXX and why even it was showing in the first place? Second I checked with customer rep regularly through their app chat option and they did confirm the promotional code was applied to my account and your bonus will be paid in XXXX. I reached out to branch representative and requested for chat logs but they denied it and said as per Marketing team I am not eligible to receive offer. This has wasted lot of my time and efforts in the follow up, this definitely raises integrity issues with the bank which has no importance for the customer satisfaction.
