I am writing to inform you that I was recently targeted in a phone scam that resulted in an unauthorized XXXX transaction being sent. The scam occurred on XX/XX/year>, during which I was misled into providing sensitive information over the phone by someone. The XXXX payment was sent to # XXXX under the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX of {$900.00}. They tried to have me believe my aunt was getting XXXX. Since my aunt lives XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I was quick to send the money. They used tactics such as threatening XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX if nothing was sent. This call was also hacked since I was able to see my aunts caller id. Which made it even more real Given the prior details, I fell for the telephone scam. Given the seriousness of this matter, I kindly request the following actions to protect my account : Please conduct an internal investigation with my bank Sofi. I did not authorize a payment rather was forced and manipulated into sending the money. They have closed my fraud case and have provided me with XXXX resolution. Id be happy to provide more information if needed. Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent matter.
