I am writing to formally dispute a late payment that is currently appearing on my credit report and to request its immediate removal. I believe this late payment is the result of a technical error on the lender 's end and not due to any negligence on my part. I firmly recall setting up automatic payments ( " autodraft '' ) through the lender 's online system. Despite this, the lender claims that autodraft was not established. Additionally, I have experienced numerous technical issues with their website, including repeated failures to recognize all of my computers/cell phones as trusted devices despite multiple attempts to do so. Furthermore, I did not receive any communication from the lender regarding a missed payment until XX/XX/XXXX, when I received an email notification. Upon receiving this email, I immediately made the payment in full. In their denial letter, the lender stated that they attempted to contact me multiple times regarding the missed payment and would provide records of these attempts within XXXX hours. It has been XXXX days since that telephone conversation with their escalation agent, and I have yet to receive any such records. I have thoroughly checked my email for messages and my phone records for any calls from the lender, but I have found no evidence of any contact attempts. I have additionally offered my records to the lender for their review. I believe this late payment is solely the result of technical errors within the lender 's systems, and I urge them to reconsider their decision and remove the late payment from my credit report. I have been a loyal customer of their company for XXXX years, and I have always made my payments on time. I am confident that a thorough review of this matter will reveal the error on their end.
