I applied for a loan through my wells fargo account and was denied. I was attempting to secure a loan as my lease was up and was required to move. I found a lender which in turn was a fraudulent person. In turn, this person deposited {$400.00} into my account using fraudulent checks in my name when I was told it would be an electronic transaction. I don't deny my navety in this but in turn, I lost the money, my account was blocked and then closed for XXXX weeks. I had to persue other options such as payday loans and title loans as my money was held until they did their investigations. Not once did anyone reach out to me to inform me of the progress of the situation all the while they held onto my money. I have a family that I support on my own and that money almost cost me our home as well as every day needs. I am now attempting to reopen my account but am being told I am never allowed to have an account with wells fargo again as if I was the criminal in this instance. I was robbed, lost money and almost lost our home because of this and now im being ostracized by wells fargo for this.
