I am filing this complaint under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically citing violations of 15 USC 1681i, 15 USC 1681s-2, 15 USC 1681b , and 15 USC 1681e ( b ). The issue concerns the inaccurate reporting of charge-offs on my consumer credit reports by Experian. On XXXX XXXX XXXX, I discovered that the account XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was incorrectly reported as a charge-off on my credit reports. On XXXX XXXX XXXX, I formally disputed the incorrect information with both the credit reporting agencies and the creditor, requesting an investigation and correction under 15 USC 1681i.
