1. We used XXXX for monitoring services and equipment at our home while we lived there. XXXX. We sold the home on XX/XX/year> and moved to XXXX, XXXX. We advised XXXX of this prior to our departure and they indicated that they would cancel the account, via the telephone. XXXX. The new owner of the home, is also paying XXXX for monitoring at the same address. XXXX. XXXX continued to collect for many months on my credit card until the credit card company put a stop to it, despite us not living there and having the cancellation request on file. Due to living abroad, I had little awareness of the credit card continuing to be charged. XXXX. We called and emailed XXXX multiple times to have them cancel and refund us what they had inappropriately charged us. They have ignored or hung up on XXXX every time. XXXX. They have now placed our account with three different collections agencies. Each time we have disputed and requested a refund of the money owed to us, and said we do not owe them anything. In each instance, the collections agency stopped collection attempts, before it was transferred to a new collections agency.
