A credit card was opened in my name and under a business name that WAS NOT MINE and I called them to straighten it out. The Real business owner was contacted and I believe paid the balance in FULL but it is reporting on my credit currently as a " Charge off '' on one bureau and as a Paid charge off on the others. It should not be on my personal credit report, I applied form a HELOC last month and found out this was my major down fall in my credit rating. I had no idea they were holding me accountable for a credit card that I HAD NO IDEA was opened using me as a Co signor or major signer.
