I've applied for two separate refi mortgages in the past year. Both times, after the company I am working with runs my credit, I am bombarded by phone calls ( over 100 ) from other mortgage companies with high pressure salesmen trying to get me to use them instead. I can not see how it is legal or fair for credit bureaus to share with other lenders that my credit has been pulled for a mortgage inquiry. This should be changed and the practice should be stopped immediately. I also do not know which agencies are doing this, as I as the consumer do not know which company the lender is using.
