Consumer Narrative
Back in XXXX of 2024 I had sent {$500.00} to a person who was impersonating a seller on XXXX XXXX, the payment was sent via XXXX, I had enough proof to show that it was a scam, provided the information to my bank, Capital One, and my claim was still denied. The information provided was someone that was impersonating this individual, upon research and through a reverse number search this individual lives in Texas. They used a secondary phone number to send an automated text showing the XXXX will be returned ( please see screenshots ).
