On XX/XX/XXXX I had my roof replaced through XXXX . XXXX and it was financed through Wells Fargo Home Projects. My account was in good standing when Covid-19 happened, but I was still able to continue making my payments on time after being XXXX XXXX from my job through unemployment I was receiving. However, the Unemployment agency then abruptly stopped payments to many people saying the money should not have been paid but later the decision was reversed by the governor of Michigan. I called Wells Fargo to inform them when the payments were about to stop and asked if they had a program to defer payments because of the Covid-19 pandemic whilst the above mentioned unemployment situation was unfolding and other creditors were allowing payments to stop for 3-6 months, I was informed by an agent of Wells Fargo that they weren't offering a deferred payment plan and the account would have to be closed immediately if the payments couldn't continue, which I really didn't want to close it because it was a revolving account where I could use the card again for other home projects, but was asked how much I could afford to pay and a payment plan was formed via letter to me dated XX/XX/XXXX.
