Hello- I am the successor in interest for a mortgage with Freedom Mortgage. We had to file a claim with the insurance company and the insurance company included Freedom Mortgage as additional payee on the check. The roof on our detached garage is severely compromised due to a wind storm. Freedom Mortgage contracts XXXX XXXX in XXXX, MI to handle their loss/claims drafts payments. It has been extremely difficult working with XXXX XXXX to get the funds to start these repairs. I have been assigned a " processor '' with XXXX XXXX who is supposed review the insurance estimate and monitor/proctor the amount being released. The total amount of the loss is approximately {$10000.00}. I have emailed the processor several times via email and also via their portal and I have received no response. I spoke to a supervisor last week at XXXX XXXX and she advised she would get with the processor and ensure they reach out and that hasn't happened. She also advised to send in a materials list to show what the costs of the materials would be so they could at least get that amount sent out to me. The materials are over $ XXXX. I checked the portal today and it shows they are only sending {$860.00} to start. This is absolutely ridiculous. What repair contractor is going to start the repairs for a $ XXXX job with less than {$1000.00}. I explained this in advanced to this company and the supervisor assured me they would review materials list and at least send that out to start and then once the work is done, they would have a 3rd party company come out to inspect and then release the final payment. None of this has happened. They are refusing to release enough to get garage back to a pre-loss condition. Freedom Mortgage and XXXX XXXX is refusing to offer any true solutions!
