Consumer Narrative
I spoke with representative from Discover Credit card section, I explained I was having financial difficulty and wanted to enter into a forbearance plan or something similar I was told that if I could make payments that Discover would wave any late fees and bring my account up to date. I made deposits via XXXX XXXX XXXX, the more payments I made the further my account went backwards, I would make a payment and my balance would increase, Discover shows my balance as XXXX? Yet they claim I owe them over XXXX my line of credit was XXXX yet they now show it as XXXX? They depleted my account at XXXX charging me excessive fees while doing so
