I had a reservation through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for the dates of XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. My flight was delayed therefore I arrived at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX. Upon arrival I was met with a letter on the door stating the water would be shut off for two days during the reservation, after entering the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I was flabbergasted and appalled by what I discovered. The property looked NOTHNG like the pictures, there was mounds of dust and soot on the fans around the AC, food stains on table and counter, drinks and food dried up in the fridge, hair on the linens, dryer open with towels hanging out and hair, paint chipping on every wall, XXXX marks, XXXX stains on the walls, the bathrooms had hair, crusty shower heads, the place hadnt been cleaned in MONTHS! I had my newborn baby with me. I immediately contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and advised I would be leaving as soon as I booked my hotel, and the reservation is accommodated. I left the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. I attempted serval times to contact the Host of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to request a refund. The host never responded. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX they kept saying they were investigating. I sent pictures. Documentation I left. Air B XXXX B then claimed they would give me some money back and the rest would come from the host. I received XXXX credits from XXXX b XXXX B however the reservation cost is XXXX. After no response from host or XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I contact Navy Federal. Credit Union. I provided the documentation as well as proof I got hotel the same day. Navy federal credited the money back to me. Sent me a letter stating they were still investigating the claim for XXXX. Then they came back and add the money back to my account. Stating they did all they could do to resolve the issues, and they could do nothing else. I contact XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and they are stating the bank initiated a charge back so now it on the bank. I called Navy Federal the stated they just needed additional information I logged into the portal to upload, and the system said I had no claim When I messaged Navy Federal, they stated again they could do nothing, I was given the wrong information my the representative and there is nothing they can do The bank holds my money, and they are running me around in circles, lying, and not protecting me as a consumer. I want Navy Federal held accountable for not doing their due diligence to return my money to me after I was scammed. I also want my money back since I was unable to use the reservation.
