Sofi, ending : XXXX I opened an online checking account with Sofi a few months ago from a sponsored link on XXXX. XXXX advertised {$120.00} bonus, and Sofi {$300.00}. Turns out, that when I wrote XXXX they refused to pay me, as Sofi stated in chat that I did not make a direct deposit of $ XXXX, which I did. I complained to the XXXX, without result. These people need to understand not all direct deposits are from weekly pay checks. Their site even lists retirement, and other sources. Most of these are paid quarterly, etc. I feel the promotion is a scam, as all I receive is 3-4 spam emails everyday to invest in cd 's, etc.
