I closed my Wells Fargo over a month ago. I went into a branch and closed it. On Friday, XX/XX/2024, a deposit was accidentally sent to the closed bank account. Instead of Wells Fargo sending the ACH back, it reopened the account and took my money to pay a debt that I owed to another entity. I was a victim of an XXXX. I have a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I was going to use that money on medical expenses. Wells Fargo had no XXXX business reopening that account. It was closed for a reason. Wells Fargo needs to give me my funds before I pursue legal action against them. They had no business reopening a closed account without my permission.
